Recognising the vital importance of building a sustainable future, Nexus is passionately committed to promoting eco-friendliness through both education and transformative upgrades to our school.
Our enthusiastic learners dove into sustainability by tending to the school gardens, where they planted and harvested organic produce. They even created an impressive mini-circular economy, selling the fresh produce to the school community to raise funds for more seeds and essential equipment.
The school’s green initiatives don’t stop there. We installed state-of-the-art solar panels and established recycling throughout the school. We also installed specialised recycling bins for clothing and electronic waste, taking our commitment to sustainability to the next level!

Our Care:MVMT ambassadors became internationally accredited Mental Health First Aiders to offer peer support at school.
Led by Year 12 CAS learners, the whole school came together to conquer our stairs and raise money to support Pipal Tree's projects.
Our learners cycle on a special smoothie bike to generate electricity to make their own smoothies.
As a part of their curriculum, our Year 2 learners participated in an interactive workshop about mental health.
Nexus often invites key speakers like Paul McGee to share their insights on wellbeing and self-enrichment approaches.
With a theme of "Empowering the Nexus Community", learners came up with technological solutions to enhance the school.
From our elite swimming squad who dominate at competitions, to our entrepreneurial Secondary learners who’ve taken the leap to start their own company, Nexus learners embody excellence as they pursue their passions. Whether it’s witnessing the victory of our Girl’s Football team clinching the Champions title at ACSIS or the enchanting performances put on by our Year 4 violinists, our school community is a hub of excitement and achievement.
