Inspired by the sad news of our own Year 10 learner who has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, our resourceful Year 10 learners took it upon themselves to raise money to support cancer research. Organising a satellite shaving event at our very own Nexus campus, three barbers came to school to shave the heads of our learners, staff and even one family! It was a particularly successful event with an astonishing amount raised: over $17,000!  It has been extremely heartwarming to see everyone, from families, learners and teachers come together to support this meaningful cause.
