We empower children to learn by encouraging them to be independent and teaching them to be critical thinkers. Outcomes in our core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science measure well above the international average and our ongoing assessments allows us to track every child’s performance.
We believe in providing a strong community where parents, teachers and children collaborate in learning-focused relationships. We have an open door policy that encourages regular communication between parents and teachers.
Nexus follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme for children from Nursery to Year 6. This programme is taught in 1,472 schools in 109 countries worldwide. Students in Years 7 to 9 follow the English National Curriculum and Years 10 and 11 follow the Cambridge IGCSE. Students in Years 12 and 13 follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, recognised by universities across the globe.
Internationally recognised exams ensure that your child is able to transition into any national curriculum. With an IB Diploma our young adults successfully secure places at the world’s top universities. We measure our core subjects against the world’s highest-ranking curriculums. For example, English Literature and Language is benchmarked against UK and New Zealand standards, Maths against Singapore National standards, and Science against the Australian National standards.

In January 2020 we are moving to our new school campus in Aljunied.
We have designed and built our new school based on innovative and flexible spaces that enhance a child’s learning experience.
Our new school offers state of the art facilities, like a double storey treehouse, an Olympic sized swimming pool, a 650 seat theatre and a competition-sized artificial turf pitch.
Welcome to Nexus. Here, we believe that every child is unique and extraordinary and that they all have the ability to learn. We believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every child to prepare them for life. Learners are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens, and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.
The school’s values align with my own personal values, including the importance of trust, respect, innovation and a sense of community. As mum to a 7 and 10 year old, I understand first hand what it means to raise children as part of a global community. The curriculum emphasises the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing learners to take their productive place as leaders in the international community.
We look forward to meeting you.
