Albert Schram
In my role as Learning Area Leader for Secondary and a Business and Economics Teacher, I intend to create close collaboration among our team of highly qualified and experienced teachers. With over three decades of experience educating students since 1988, I bring an international and trans-disciplinary outlook to this role.
For the past ten years, my wife Paulina, who is also an educator, and I have called Papua New Guinea, Australia, Italy, and France home while working at international schools across primary, and secondary levels. This international experience has reinforced my belief that every student has unique strengths and approaches to learning. Through structured pedagogy grounded in kindness, I strive to create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to participate and excel.
In today’s digital age, harnessing educational technology is key to enhancing the learning experience. I am an advocate for leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) to streamline course delivery, enable engaging multimedia content, and facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. By getting the most out of our LMS, we can foster an interactive virtual classroom that complements and elevates traditional in-person instruction.
I am constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and improve my teaching practice through professional development, writing, workshops, and courses. When not in the classroom, I enjoy quality time with my wife and friends through activities like cycling, water sports, and travel.
