Katie Devlin

Science Teacher

Katie was born and raised in the UK where she trained as a teacher after completing her Bachelors degree and started her teaching career in the public school system. She joins the Nexus community from a British curriculum school in the Cayman Islands, where she was the Head of Faculty of Science. Katie has a passion for learning and is currently demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning by undertaking a distance learning Masters degree in human rights and humanitarian law. She aims to always create a classroom environment where learners feel comfortable to take risks and accept challenging learning experiences. She enjoys seeing learners excelling in their lives outside the classroom and growing as global citizens who contribute to their community. Outside of school, Katie likes to play sport, travel, read and cook.
