Aletia Aston-Soards

Aletia Aston-Soards began her teaching career in the UK before moving to Singapore in 2007. A graduate of the University of the Arts London, she passionately believes in the importance of bringing outside influences and experiences into the Art classroom. Aletia is committed to supporting our learners and equipping them with the skills required to make independent creative choices. She particularly enjoys working with a diverse range of learners and nurturing each child’s personal artistic progression. While Aletia has a passion for painting and ceramics, she also strives to integrate emerging media into the curriculum where appropriate. Outside the classroom, Aletia takes advantage of Singapore's vibrant arts scene. On top of frequenting art exhibitions and dance productions, she also enjoys watching children’s theatre with her two young daughters.
