Asha Peppiatt is an experienced counsellor and educator who began her teaching career in the UK as a Physical Education teacher in 1976. Her professional career has seen her working in state and international schools in the UK, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand as a teacher and went on to become a counsellor in the latter country. This experience gave her the opportunity to work alongside government agencies in the Thames-Coromandel area for over twenty-five years. In fact, Asha moved through the ranks to become principal of Coromandel Area School but decided to go back to what she enjoys most after seven years; working with individuals and groups to help them make a difference in their lives. Asha is passionate about all forms of Theatre Arts, and loves to be involved with drama productions. She keeps herself fit by running regularly, attending yoga and Zumba classes and is willing to give anyone a game of badminton, tennis or squash!
