Since arriving at Nexus Singapore in 2011, Bhavana Nair has witnessed the growth of the Nursery and Kindergarten. In her current role as Phase Leader, she has also enjoyed being involved in the development of the learning environment, as well as other areas of the curriculum. Beyond the classroom, Bhavana also travels to Malaysia to consult with other Early Years Practitioners in our partner schools. She is a committed Early Childhood teacher who believes that every child can succeed when presented with the right learning opportunities. She continues to be in awe of their ability to teach as well as to learn. She enjoys teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to her learners and wishes to continue by gaining a qualification in this area. Beyond the school gates, Bhavana enjoys spending time with her energetic toddler and husband, whether they are taking walks along MacRitchie Reservoir or discovering new places for coffee.
