Kathy has been teaching Mandarin as a foreign language across a range of ages in international settings for 7 years in Malaysia and Hong Kong before her move to Singapore with her husband and newborn in 2018. As a Mandarin coordinator at her previous school in Hong Kong, she led her team in organising Chinese culture days and visits to the community. She believes that language represents a crucial part of one's own culture and in its sharing, as all children and adults alike can share in global knowledge and experience. In her spare time Kathy loves to paint and enjoys messy play with her little one.
