Larisa Mogutova

Coach Larisa is one of Nexus' key contributors to the school's rapidly growing swimming programme and is currently leading the Primary swimming curriculum. Her energy and background as a former national swimmer have inspired many young learners to pursue the sport. Her accreditation with American Swimming Coaches Association provides her with a clear understanding of the LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development) standards and the importance of being passionate for the sport. As a mother of two, Larisa believes that learning swimming through play and guided discovery is the best for our little swimmers. She was a member of the Russian National Team from 2003 to 2008 and her best achievements include 5th Place in the FINA World Cup 2006, 1st place in the LEN Olympic Days of Europe 2003 held in Paris, Junior European Record as a member of the Russian Relay Team, 3rd place in the Junior European Championship 2004 held in Budapest.
