Matthew Braun

Art Specialist Teacher

Master of Arts - Maine College of Art
Bachelor of Arts - University of Wisconstin-Oshkosh

Matt has been teaching primary art internationally and in the United States for the past 5 years. As an artist and educator, he believes in the endless possibilities of a child and their imagination. Exploration, experimentation and learning through doing, are at the core of his teaching practice. Matt is passionate about guiding children to discover how art can be used as a form of empowerment and self-expression. By fostering curiosity, discovering creative solutions to problems and thinking critically, all children can be successful, both inside and outside of the art room.

Outside of teaching, Matt is an avid painter and printmaker. He also enjoys going to see live music, traveling and spending time in nature.
