Originally from New Zealand, Monica Picard moved to Singapore with her family in 2005 and joined Nexus in 2015 as the Teacher Librarian. Monica enjoys promoting a love for reading with the learners and has created an engaging learning environment in the library focusing on media and information literacy. She believes it is essential to collaborate with teachers and learners to establish a trusting relationship. Outside of school, Monica enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes to travel, go to the gym, coach netball, and relax with a good book.
