Pippa Thomson

Pippa is a Year 3 teacher from Canada. Before joining to Nexus, she worked in an IB World School in Vancouver, where she developed a passion for inquiry based teaching. She has extensive experience developing and teaching lessons in the Primary Years Programme and strives to create an environment where students engage in authentic inquiry and are supported and challenged to become independent and self-aware learners. In her 15 years as an educator, Pippa has taught across Canada and South Korea before moving to Singapore in 2017 with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoor activities, traveling and exploring the foods and sights of Singapore with her family.
