Aysha comes from a mixed English and Turkish background and recently moved from Turkey to join Nexus after working for an IB school for 14 years. She enjoys working with a range of age groups across Primary and Secondary. For the past 5 years she has focused her training as an IB-MYP Language Acquisition teacher. Aysha sees herself as a lifelong learner who is passionate about cultivating effective and productive relationships with her learners, individualizing their education methods based upon each student’s individual traits and needs. She encourages her learners to reflect upon their personal learning requirements. This aids in creating a more effective educational environment at a steady pace adapted to the needs of each student. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, amateur astronomy, philosophical discussions, international cuisine and gardening.
