Prior to joining Nexus in August 2013, Caroline de Kock was working in the private sector where she was in various profit and non-profit organisations, doing marketing and administrative roles. This includes running her own successful fair trade food manufacturing and export business for almost a decade in Zimbabwe, where she was born and bred. In her current role as a teacher of business, Caroline brings a wealth of real-life experience and knowledge to her lessons which she enjoys sharing with her learners. She has a keen interest in the ancestral health movement and enjoys researching scientific theories about how diet, lifestyle, and environment can shape human health. She also loves travelling and experiencing new cultures.
