Individuals and Societies Teacher & Year Leader (Year 10)
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Secondary Geography) - University of St Mary's, London, UK
BA (Hons) International Relations - University of Birmingham, UK
Originally hailing from London, Henry is a Humanities teacher with a specialism in Geography. He has experience in both independent and selective schools. He possesses a particular interest in using data-driven maps to develop global learners – a technique which marries perfectly with the internationally diverse nature of the Nexus community.
Henry is driven by the desire to foster curiosity in young people and each learner knows that they are expected to contribute consistently in each and every one of his lessons. He is a strong believer that promoting these proactive and vocal learners helps drive academic progress and develop relationships between learners.
His BA in International Relations adds a political aspect to his lessons, especially for the senior groups of learners. Outside of Nexus, Henry is a keen footballer and supporter who has followed Fulham Football Club all across England. He also enjoys watching his wife, who possesses all of the musical talent in their marriage, produce and DJ music at home or at events.
