Joanna Bevan

Visual Arts Teacher & CAS Co-ordinator

Joanna teaches across both Primary and Secondary in her role as a specialist Visual Arts teacher. She also has a keen interest in the IBDP years through her role as the CAS Coordinator and as a teacher of TOK. Joanna’s 15 years of teaching experience includes working in the UK and Nepal before joining Nexus 6 years ago. Her approach in the classroom encompasses her belief of developing each child as an individual whilst fostering an appetite for learning. Her own passion for exploring and making the most of all opportunities that are offered, is evident in her enthusiasm for the Year 12 and 13 CAS program. She is driven to support, encourage and motivate all learners giving them opportunities to make their learning journey a memorable one. Joanna loves to travel, experience new cuisines and explore the outdoors with her husband and three children.
