Jozef left his country of Slovakia almost 20 years ago to become an international teacher. Jozef has taught IBDP Biology, Psychology and Environmental Science in England, Romania, China, Vietnam and now in Singapore. Currently, he is an IBDP examiner and the co-author of online content platform for DP Psychology students. Jozef consistently strives to keep up a positive relationship with his learners, by understanding them as individuals and what their behaviour motivators are. One of his biggest beliefs is that thinking precedes understanding, which is why he tries to focus on inquiry-based learning and critical thinking in his classes. Jozef loves sport, he is a big promoter of the volleyball CCA in Nexus and plays tennis almost everyday. He likes to keep his life balanced and apart from sport and science, has also participated in a production of a very successful Cabaret play with The Stage Club in Singapore.
