Libby Ince

Humanities Teacher & Phase Leader (Year 7 to Year 9)

From the UK, Libby Ince' first overseas post was in Madrid, Spain where she taught English as a Foreign Language to children and adults. Since then, she has had 20 years experience teaching Diploma History and Humanities, working in many different countries, including Mexico, Sri Lanka, China and Singapore. Libby’s 12 years in China were very productive, with three of her children being born there. As a workshop leader and school visitor for the IB, she travels around the Asia Pacific region working with teachers and schools. Libby is also a “Teaching ESL Students in the Mainstream” tutor with extensive experience training teachers in a variety of schools. Libby and her husband find weekends are taken up with their children, who enjoy taking the dog for walks and mountain biking in the nearby jungle trails.
