Marianne has taught in Singapore for seven years before joining Nexus, and collectively has over 20 years of teaching and leadership experience in Singapore, Thailand and the UK. She is a BML and English specialist and recently trained in SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordination). She is experienced in both the IB and British curriculum and has worked in a variety of leadership roles including Head of Department and Provision Coordinator. She has a thorough understanding of the needs of the BML learner and is committed to ensuring learners’ development as unique individuals and globally minded citizens. She is passionate about inclusive education and the celebration of diversity. She also firmly believes in a growth mindset approach. Marianne is a qualified divemaster and yoga instructor. She also enjoys playing tennis.
