Matthew joined Nexus after teaching at the British School Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman where he developed and delivered the Computer Science Programmes of Study for students aged 11 to 18. He believes that every learner carries within them the key to their own success and progress and his core responibility as an educator is to create a trusting, collaborative and innovative environment that allows each learner to discover that key. Outside the classroom, Matthew loves cycling, swimming and rugby. He is also a self confessed Sci-Fi Film and Literature fan. He loves travelling, travel literature and has a soft spot for Hemingway. He is married to Rachael who works in the Support Services department at Nexus and has three children also attending Nexus.
