Samantha Hine

Sami is a passionate and enthusiastic educator who truly values the importance of positive relationships. Originally from the UK, she joins us from Hong Kong, having taught at international schools there for the past 11 years. Her focus is on methodically crafting creative lessons to engage all learners and ensuring that her classroom is always a safe and welcoming space. Sami is consistently seeking innovative ways to keep her pedagogy fresh; she is eager to learn from others at Nexus. She very much values other voices and tries to incorporate learner choices into her teaching wherever possible.

Apart from being an English teacher, Sami is a fully qualified dance teacher and also enjoys reading and adventures. Her eldest daughter has also joined us at Nexus.
