Paul is from the United Kingdom and graduated with a degree in Physical Education with Primary Education from Leeds University. He taught for 4 years in the north of England before moving to the Middle East, where he spent 12 years working at a school in Qatar. He then moved to Singapore in 2012, working as a Grade 4 and 5 teacher before becoming the PYP Coordinator at another international school. Paul is a workshop leader and school visit team member for the IB, and has worked to develop understanding of inquiry and experiential learning with teams at several schools. He moved to Singapore with his wife Claire, who is a Visual Arts teacher, and two children, both of whom are very sporty. Outside of school, Paul’s passion lies with sport and in particular rugby where he strongly supports Scotland.
