Suzie Bacon, a Primary Teacher here at Nexus, unexpectedly discovered her love for triathlons. Watching them from the sidelines, she was struck by the fun and challenge they seemed to offer. In 2019, she took the plunge and participated in her first triathlon, experiencing the thrill of competition firsthand. In an exciting collaboration between Nexus and the leading brain fitness gym, SPARKD, brain fitness was brought to a school in Asia for the first time. Nexus Year 4 Trip: Exploring Singapore’s History

Throughout the term, Year 4 learners have been exploring how early migrant settlers shaped Singapore by focusing on the inquiry ‘Migration changes communities and places over time.’ They explored why different groups migrated to Singapore and the important contributions these pioneers made which still impact our society today.
