Albert has been passionately educating students since 1988. His own education was international in outlook and he holds a doctoral degree in economic history from the European University Institute, the social sciences research institute of the European Commission.

For the past decade, Albert and his wife, Paulina, who is also an educator, have called Papua New Guinea, Italy and France home. During this time, they worked at international schools in Italy and France across primary, secondary, and pre-university levels. Albert believes that every student has unique strengths and approaches to learning. Through a structured pedagogy of kindness, he strives to create an inclusive classroom environment where all feel empowered to participate and excel.

When he is not in the classroom, Albert enjoys spending time with his wife and friends. He likes to walk, and spend time on or under the water, or in the mountains. Albert is always seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and improve his teaching practice through writing blog posts, attending workshops and professional development courses. He looks forward to bringing his passion and experience to the Nexus community.
