Hailing from Malaysia, Darsyanah has always had a passion for inclusive education, early intervention and providing additional support for learners with diverse needs. Her previous professional experiences include working in a public school, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and an IB international school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before joining Nexus. She tailors her lessons to meet each learner’s specific learning needs and ensures they are actively engaged in the learning process. Darsyanah puts a great emphasis on placing learners at the core of their learning journey and believes that each one of them should be given an equal opportunity to a holistic education through inquiry-based learning. Success may look different for each child but at the end of the day, she hopes to create lifelong learners who are not afraid to make mistakes and grow from them.
Outside of school, Darsyanah enjoys travelling and wishes to explore hidden gems in neighbouring countries and beyond. She also enjoys experimenting with meditation and mindfulness practices.
