Having grown up as a Third Culture Kid herself, this experience provided Deborah a keen interest in working with bilingual learners, as she understands the challenges and joys of living and studying in various countries. Having taught English for almost a decade, she now teaches Additional English and Intensive English to bilingual and multilingual learners across primary and secondary school. Deborah’s background in counselling helps her to also see learners in a holistic way, and she aims to support them not just academically, but emotionally as well. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring family-friendly places in Singapore with her three young children. She hopes to learn urban sketching one day and put her new skill to good use while exploring more of this beautiful red dot.
