Divya has amassed 13 years of teaching experiences, adeptly educating diverse groups of students ranging from kindergarten to middle school. She holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Adelaide, a Bachelor’s degree in English Honours from India, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Teaching from the Asian College of Teachers, a CELTA qualification, a Cambridge International Diploma from Singapore, and Montessori training.

Her teaching journey started in Kampala, Uganda, where she passionately taught African students to read, write, and speak in English, instilling confidence, a lifelong curiosity and love for learning. Divya’s teaching philosophy is centered on imparting relevant knowledge and skills, fostering conceptual understanding, nurturing positive attitudes, and encouraging responsible actions. She adapts her teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and consistently develops creative lesson plans.
Divya is known for her enthusiasm and positive attitude, which create an inviting and dynamic learning atmosphere. She aspires to spread positivity and genuinely enjoys engaging with her students. Reflective and open to change, Divya always welcomes new ideas to help her learners become independent thinkers, risk-takers, and problem solvers.

Outside of her professional life, Divya is a proud mother of a talented daughter. She enjoys nature walks and travelling with her family. She firmly believes that when teachers go above and beyond, students take notice and feel inspired to invest themselves fully in their learning journey.
