Jessica has been teaching Bilingual and Multilingual Learners for over a decade. Bilingualism and Multilingualism are highly sought after skills, and Jessica feels privileged to be a part of helping learners achieve this valuable aim. She is inspired by the learners that she works with who demonstrate their commitment, open-mindedness and willingness to take risks. Jessica is guided by the philosophy that all learners are valuable members of the classroom and strongly believes that a sense of belonging is an essential precursor to learning. Inclusion is her passion. Building trusting relationships with and between the learners is a priority in her learning environments.
Jessica has a Master’s of Education with an emphasis in TESOL, a CELTA (with young learners extension) and K-6 and ESL teaching certifications. She values professional development and is always excited about the next learning opportunity. Beyond education, Jessica loves playing with her two young children, exploring unfamiliar places, and testing out new recipes.
