Karianne joined the Nexus family in 2020 and has recently completed her International Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from Warwick University. Karianne has a MSc in Applied Criminology from the University of Leicester and has previously worked as an analyst for the Metropolitan Police in London and the UK Home Office. Throughout her previous careers, Karianne has been passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of others and she is excited to make a difference to the learners at Nexus. Karianne hopes to create a classroom where every learner is celebrated for their uniqueness, is confident to ask questions and sees mistakes as opportunities to learn. Outside of school, Karianne enjoys running, crafts and spending evenings with her cats and a cup of tea!
