Originally from New Zealand, Katie has had the opportunity to teach in both her home country and in Hong Kong. These valuable experiences have given her a strong sense of international-mindedness. Holding a degree from Massey University, Katie is a passionate and enthusiastic educator committed to inquiry-based, learner-centred learning that nurtures the unique strengths and interests of each child. With over 9 years of experience teaching the New Zealand Curriculum, IB Primary Years Programme, and the English National Curriculum, Katie aims to cultivate collaborative classroom environments where all learners are empowered to become lifelong, resilient learners.
