Mercini moved to Singapore in 2020 and has previously worked in several international schools. Before moving abroad, she went to university in Sweden and finished her Masters of Education. Previously, she also worked in the UK and South Korea. Mercini is passionate about teaching Physical and Health Education. She also enjoys learning languages and travelling to different countries. She is very keen on going to the gym as much as possible, doing Taekwondo, as well as spending time with her family.
