Niamh is an energetic and passionate educator who has been teaching since 2008. In 2015, she left Ireland with her husband Sean and moved overseas. In that time, she has worked in International schools in the Middle East, as well as in Asia. She has taught various year levels, but she has been teaching lower Primary more recently. She uses and develops play-based approaches and strategies in the classroom.
Niamh is energised by her students and in awe of the vastness of their minds and creativity. She believes that children need freedom to explore their own ideas and inquiries. She recognises the individuality of each and every child in her classroom and their right to learn in different ways. She is excited to support and guide children on their learning journeys in Nexus.
In between chasing her 3 year old daughter and recently turned 1year old, Niamh loves to be outdoors walking, hiking or jogging. She loves exploring new places and is looking forward to visiting some nearby countries with her family in the near future.
