From the sunny island of Singapore, Serena has had the opportunity to work with learners in international schools for the past 5 years. Trained in the Orff Schulwerk Approach, Serena believes in developing creativity through movement, speech and musical improvisation. Her love for travelling has inspired the exploration of world music within her music classroom. Currently undertaking her Masters in Music Education from the National Institute of Education in Singapore, Serena is dedicated to developing a passion for music-making in her learners and shaping them into internationally-minded individuals. She hopes to create an enjoyable environment for all learners in her music classroom. Serena is an absolute foodie and likes to play badminton during her free time.
