Originally from the UK and Shanaz have worked in Germany, Qatar, Brunei and Singapore. Her focus is to encourage students to think rather than be told, ask open-ended questions that allows them to think deeply and come up with creative ways to solve problems connected to real world events. Shanaz hope students see her as a knowledgeable teacher who brought curiosity and creativity to their learning.

Outside of school, Shanaz enjoy indoor rock climbing and hiking in areas of natural beauty. She also love to travel and explore new places and other cultures.
