Stephanie was born in Canada, raised in Aotearoa/New Zealand where she began her teaching career. Stephanie first joined the Nexus community in 2014 as a Primary homeroom teacher. After briefly leaving for a 3 year stint homeroom teaching in Romania, she rejoined the Nexus community in 2023 as a digital learning coach in Primary. Stephanie holds a Master of Education in Digital Technologies and e-Learning from the University of Canterbury and earned a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from Victoria University of Wellington. She has also been recognised by Apple and Google for her work in using technology effectively. Stephanie is an inquiry teacher who strives to help her learners become confident, caring and creative users of technology. Outside of the classroom, Stephanie enjoys photography, travel and cake decorating.
