Hailing from rural Devon in the UK, Stephen has taught in prestigious schools across the UK, UAE, Germany, Kuwait, Kenya and Singapore. These experiences have broadened his knowledge of different approaches and pedagogical methods in the classroom, as well as given a new perspective on life outside it. With a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Exeter in the UK, Stephen is dedicated to developing passionate, lifelong learners. He is excited by the challenge of expanding the enrichment programme for Mathematics at Nexus. He believes strongly in engagement and enjoyment in his classroom, and developing problem solving skills that can be used in everyday life. In his free time, Stephen likes to cycle, indulge in ornithology and thoroughly spoil his cat Meredith.
