Tom is originally from the United States. He has been a teacher for more than 10 years with experience teaching in the US, South Korea, and China before arriving in Singapore. He holds a teaching license from the US in addition to a BA in Anthropology, an MA in Applied Linguistics and other TESOL qualifications. In his experience teaching, Tom has developed a strong belief in the power of language learning to open doors and lead learners toward greater opportunities in school and beyond. Tom is passionate about creating an English language learning classroom that empowers learners to develop constructive relationships and explore interests and content across the curriculum. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time outside enjoying nature and sampling as many new kinds of cuisine he can find.
