As an enthusiastic and energetic learner, Yuehua thrives on personal and professional growth. She holds a master’s degree in education, graduating from the University of Hong Kong and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore in 2015. Yuehua has been working in international school settings in Singapore for the past 13 years and also spent 2 years teaching in Shenzhen, China. She is multilingual, speaking three languages fluently and is currently learning another language on her own.

As a passionate International Baccalaureate educator, Yuehua aims to be a lifelong learner in her teaching journey. Her goal is to inspire new generations to become lifelong learners as well. She is constantly seeking out more effective ways of learning to grow as an educator and to help every child learn and grow on their educational journey. Yuehua also believes in involving families and working in partnership with them.

Yuehua is thrilled to be part of the Nexus community and looks forward to contributing her experience and enthusiasm. She aims to help her learners reach their full potential and become global citizens who are prepared for the challenges of the future. In her free time, Yuehua loves traveling, yoga, and tennis.
