FACILITIES

We have designed and built our new school based on innovative and flexible learning spaces that enhance a child’s learning experience. Because teaching is not confined to four walls, we use a wide range of spaces to engage children in their learning including our double storey treehouse. We have included exhibition spaces for children to present their work and design & technology rooms to integrate STEAM into lessons throughout the school.

This school has been designed for learning, by the people that spend their days working in them.

Our whole school has been involved in the designing of the school – teachers have helped to design the innovative learning spaces; our specialist sports teachers helped design our amazing Aquatics centre with a state-of-the-art Olympic sized pool; our FIFA and World Rugby specified Astroturf field; and two large air-conditioned gyms are designed so they can be split into four separate teaching spaces.

Music lessons are enhanced with three state-of-the-art recording studios. Our two-tier Auditorium is the perfect backdrop for music performances, concerts and school productions.

Our two black box drama studios are truly flexible spaces, allowing for intimate experiential theatre performances, dance practices, guest speakers and exhibitions.

We believe teaching is not confined to four walls, which is why we use an extensive range of open spaces to engage children in their learning. This includes wide exhibition spaces for learners to present their work, as well as Design & Technology rooms that can be found in most of our learning hubs to integrate STEAM into lessons.

Our new school also offers state of the art facilities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a two-tier theatre and a FIFA and World Rugby specified Astroturf pitch. These amenities enhance our children’s learning experience and give Nexus some of the most impressive facilities in Singapore.
