Kerstin moved from Scotland to Singapore with her family and joined the Nexus community in 2017. As a passionate early years educator, she believes that strong, trusting relationships with learners and families foster a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and confident.

She creates inclusive, purposeful, and meaningful learning opportunities that encourage children to be curious inquirers who make connections with the world around them. She supports them to take agency over their learning and grow as kind, caring members of the community.

Kerstin has two daughters, one a Nexus graduate, and the other currently attending, which gives her a deep and personal connection to the school’s values.
