Prior to joining Nexus, May worked as a Montessori educator and established a sensory play business for pre-schoolers. She firmly believes that work is the play of the child and enjoys interacting with children in a nurturing, prepared environment.

She is originally from Malaysia and has lived in Singapore for a decade, now with her husband and two children. In her free time, she tries to achieve her Goodreads reading target, an endeavour that is often interrupted by her children’s snack requests!

May holds a degree in law, a TEFL certificate and a diploma in Montessori education.
