Sarah Baldock joined Nexus in 2018, moving from the UK. With two decades of teaching expertise, she brings a wealth of experience in both Pastoral Care and Curriculum Leadership.

Within the classroom, Sarah focuses on tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each learner. Her drive lies in nurturing aspirations, setting high expectations and celebrating achievements. To Sarah, every child’s learning journey should be a unique and comprehensive experience, enabling them to thrive within a supportive yet challenging framework.

Sarah actively champions the principles of a “Growth Mindset” and actively fosters innovation among her learners. She advocates inquiry- and concept-based learning as it has the propensity to develop learners who are risk-takers and deep thinkers who are actively engaged in their own learning experiences.

Since relocating to Singapore, Sarah and her family have embraced the chance to discover new countries, cultures and shared experiences. They’ve established a new sense of “home” within Singapore and Sarah’s own two daughters are also part of the Nexus community, attending the Primary School alongside her.
