Willy Nyolei

Learning Support Integrator (Primary)

Born in Kenya, Willy is a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in international schools primarily in East Africa. He joins Nexus from a prominent IB school in Rwanda, the country of a thousand hills.

He holds a degree in Special Needs Education from Maseno University, a diploma in Teaching and Learning from Cambridge University, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Specific Learning Disabilities and Inclusive Education at Kenyatta University. Additionally, he is a certified TEF/SL trainer.

Willy believes that all individuals have the potential to learn, provided that the material is meaningful and relevant to them. His teaching philosophy focuses on creating positive relationships with learners and maintaining a low-stress, inclusive classroom environment.

Outside of the classroom, Willy is a dedicated father to schoolgoing children, two of whom are attending Nexus. His commitment to education and inclusive learning extends beyond his professional life. He actively supports charities and vulnerable people in his home country, a cause he plans to continue virtually.

In his free time, Willy enjoys traveling, shopping and storytelling, bringing a wealth of cultural experiences to the Nexus community.
