NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN LEARNING HUB

Our youngest learners thrive in their dedicated learning hubs that are crafted for exploration and play-based learning. From cosy reading corners to a fabulous outdoor garden with scooter tracks, water play and a playground, it’s a marvellous space for our Early Years learners.

Art area

The kindergarten art area is a bustling creative zone where early years learners can freely express themselves! With a variety of art materials at their fingertips, children can explore different mediums and experiment with a range of textures. It’s the perfect place for them to draw, create, and let their imaginations run wild.

Home corner

Does anything here spark a familiar memory? As learners transition from nursery, they’ll find a similar home corner in the center of their learning space, inviting them to dive into imaginative play. In this area, they can take on different roles to emulate familiar real-world experiences, allowing them to explore their interests as well. The setup is designed to facilitate the transition from parallel play to social play, promoting interactive learning and encouraging collaboration among peers.

Water play

Water play is another exciting option for early years learners, aiding in the development of fine motor skills such as hand-eye coordination. This sensory experience allows for learner-led discovery where they can explore cause and effect, directing their own learning as they play with water.

Writing area

In our writing area, emerging writers are encouraged to explore the art of mark-making and writing. Equipped with a variety of tools, they engage in the creative process, experimenting with different ways to express their ideas. This environment fosters their imagination, allowing them to create not only drawings but also books and stories, as they begin to develop their unique voices as writers.

Class in the background

Homeroom spaces are designed to support play and structured learning. Even while the children are engaged in activities like circle time, teachers can seamlessly integrate music, phonics, and art lessons. These spaces provide a safe environment that fosters a sense of identity and belonging, helping learners build a strong foundation within their class and the wider kindergarten community.
