Aysha comes from a mixed English and Turkish background. She joined Nexus after working in an IB school for 14 years. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she enjoys working with a range of age groups across Primary and Secondary. With extensive training as an IB-MYP Language Acquisition teacher, Aysha sees herself as a lifelong learner who is passionate about cultivating effective and productive learning relationships with her learners. She tailors her educational methods based on each learner’s unique traits and needs, encouraging them to reflect upon their personal learning requirements. This approach creates a more effective educational environment, allowing for steady progress adapted to each learner. In her spare time, Aysha enjoys traveling, reading, amateur astronomy, philosophical discussions, international cuisine, and gardening.
