Governance

The following are members of the Board of Directors that oversee governance of NEXUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Company Registration No. 201009668C:

The Academic Board has the following members:

Mrs. Karrie Dietz (Chairperson)
Mrs. Fiona Lewis
Mr. Jonathan Gunzi

The Academic Board is to look into the academic quality and rigour of the private education institute
(PEI).
1. The Academic Board shall have the following responsibilities:
a. to develop and review the policies and procedures on all academic matters of the PEI,
including but not limited to academic quality assurance measures; and
b. to facilitate the implementation of and compliance with such policies and procedures.
2. Without prejudice to the generality of Item 1, the Academic Board shall:
a. develop a set of standards to ensure the academic quality of every course to be offered or
provided by the PEI, including but not limited to —
i. the content of the modules or subjects of the course;
ii. the duration of the course; and
iii. the appropriate entry and graduation requirements;
b. approve each person to be deployed to teach any course offered or provided by the PEI or any
module or subject thereof, after determining that the person possesses the minimum
qualifications and experience and other criteria prescribed in regulation 26; and
c. review the policies and procedures referred to in item 1 at least once every 2 years.

The Examination Board has the following members:

Ms. Carly Drysdale

The Examination Board shall have the responsibility to develop examination and assessment procedures
for the private education institute (PEI), including but not limited to:

the security of examination scripts and answer scripts;
the conduct of examinations and assessments;
the duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;
the moderation of examination and assessment marks; and
the handling of appeals from students with regard to examination or assessment matters.
