Katharina grew up in an international environment with an American mother and German father and had the privilege of attending an international school from an early age. She spent the past seven years teaching different grade levels at international schools in The Netherlands and Germany where she developed a love for the Primary Years Programme and inquiry-based learning. Katharina is a caring and passionate educator who firmly believes in the power of building positive relationships within the learning space to allow learners to be open to taking risks and to make meaningful connections.

Outside of school, she enjoys learning new languages, playing volleyball, checking out new restaurants and travelling to different countries with her husband.
