Monika Bulcock is a dedicated and passionate early years educator with over eight years of experience teaching and leading in international schools in Singapore. Monika holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education International from the University of Nottingham, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology with Distinction from London South Bank University, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham.

​​Monika believes deeply in advocating for children’s rights and making their thinking visible through pedagogical documentation and collaborative practice. She studied with the International Study Group in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and now continues this work as an active member of the Reggio Emilia in Asia for Children team. Through this role, she has led workshops, exhibition ateliers, and other initiatives that advance innovative early childhood education across the region.

In her classroom and leadership roles, Monika draws on her extensive experience with the IB PYP framework as both an educator and curriculum coordinator, striving to create inclusive, inspiring learning environments that empower children to be curious inquirers who confidently contribute to their community.

Outside of work, Monika enjoys spending time with her twin daughters and husband, travelling to new destinations, and cherishing moments that nurture her passion for lifelong learning.
