With six years of experience in the IB Primary Years Programme, Olga has supported learners in Latvia as a Homeroom Co-Teacher, EAL Teacher, and EAL Coordinator. These varied roles, along with her experience as a multilingual learner, have given her a broad perspective on the needs of language learners, as well as the tools to help them build confidence in accessing the curriculum.
Olga holds a PGCiE from the University of Bath and a Master’s degree in International Education from the University of St Andrews. Passionate about inclusive education, she focuses on metacognition and empowering learners to take ownership of their learning. She believes in creating a classroom environment where every learner feels seen, supported, and challenged. A strong advocate for professional growth, she actively engages in learning opportunities and action research to continuously refine her teaching practice.
Outside the classroom, Olga enjoys contemporary art, jogging, and hiking.
